The Code of Ethics is a commitment by the FSI to: Observe and maintain high standards in all business and professional activities; Perform with honesty and integrity, in full compliance with the law. Ensure that all associates, employees and clients are treated fairly, without prejudice or favoritism; Respect public confidence thus acting in accordance with their proper interest while taking due care not to misrepresent its position or influence people or institutions; Avoid conflict of interest when in any action concerning the affairs of another person or company; Always be honest, truthful, responsible and accountable towards the community.

Ethical behavior is the highest standard of professionalism and ethics required when interacting with people and organizations. The Code of Ethics is intended to serve as a guide for Financial Services companies and individuals engaged in the business of financial advice, distribution and/or brokerage activities, who have a stake in maintaining public trust in the financial services industry.

This code is an open, universally agreed set of principles that will enable all bodies and individuals to carry out their activities in line with today's standards of professional conduct. Although approved by FSI to serve as the basis for professional practice, the code shall not be used as a legal instrument; any interpretation or use beyond that purpose should be undertaken only with caution.
