The Code of Ethics is intended to serve as a guide for Financial Services companies and individuals engaged in the business of financial advice, distribution and/or brokerage activities, who have a stake in maintaining public trust in the financial services industry.
This code is an open, universally agreed set of principles that will enable all bodies and individuals to carry out their activities in line with today's standards of professional conduct. Although approved by FSI to serve as the basis for professional practice, the code shall not be used as a legal instrument; any interpretation or use beyond that purpose should be undertaken only with caution.
